As a lifelong resident of Southington, I grew up in town when there was bountiful open space for residents of all ages to enjoy. Over the past few decades, I, like many other residents, watched our town transform from a smaller, rural town into a bustling and modern suburb attractive to many as a very desirable place to live, work, and raise a family. While I love the diversity of amenities the town offers its residents, balancing thoughtful and strategic development with acquisition and preservation of open space for residents and families to enjoy remains my utmost priority to ensure continued positive quality of life for current and future residents.
