Jasper Williams

Jasper Williams knew from an early age that he wanted to serve his country and community. His father's service as a minister moved his family all over the country from North Carolina to Florida and North Dakota. Eager to build on his family's legacy of service, Jasper enlisted in the United States Coast Guard in 2004. While in the Coast Guard, Jasper supported multiple humanitarian and environmental missions, including Hurricane Katrina response and the Deep-Water Horizon oil spill. After six years of honorable service, he decided to return to college and settle down with his wife so they could start a family.
In 2011, Jasper, along with his wife and children, settled in Pennsylvania, where Jasper started working for Sikorsky Aircraft. Jasper was recognized for his unique leadership traits and quickly progressed through roles of responsibility. In 2015, Jasper was elected to serve on the Board of Trustees at the American Helicopter Museum and Education Center in West Chester, PA. He served as chair of the STEM and Volunteer committees and was responsible for growing the museum's education and community outreach programs. After graduating from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a BS in Aeronautics and Economics, Jasper began supporting International Operations. In 2020, Jasper was transferred to CT for work, and he, his wife Rachael, and their children settled down in Southington, CT. His family feels right at home in Southington, and they look forward to raising their children and giving back to this vibrant city. Jasper believes in honor, respect, and devotion to duty. He understands that service always comes before self and that service starts in the community. Jasper's educational achievements include Summa Cum Laude honors from Embry-Riddle, Certificate of Managerial Finance from Duke University, and he is currently completing his MBA at The Citadel Military College. He is a member of the Coast Guard Aviation Association, American Helicopter Society, Veterans Employee Resource Group at LM. He served as a board trustee at the American Helicopter Museum and Education Center. |
