Erika Pocock
Current Vice President - Board of Water Commissioners Erika Lee Pocock , 31, is a life long resident and homeowner in Southington. Erika works at the State Capitol and works closely with multiple municipalities and legislators across the state, and also owns a small business. Erika is the current Vice President of the Southington Board of Water and is running for re-election for a second term. Water is the most important resource we have and it is important to maintain and upkeep our infrastructure, find new ways to ensure and increase water quality, and work with surrounding communities in case of emergencies. She understands how important it is to have a fair, balanced budget, affordable rates to the consumer (she has been the sole member to vote against two rate increases,) while working to improve water quality. She also serves on the Southington Board of Water Commissioners Infrastructure Subcommittee where she has worked on the new Mill Street Tank Project. Erika also recently successfully lobbied the State Legislature on Women's Rights and her passionate work resulted in Upskirting being illegal and punishable by law in the State of Connecticut.
