I have had the privilege of serving on the Board of Education for the past 16 years and currently am the Board Chairperson.  Over this time, I have continually supported the educational environment of Southington Schools so that our students have the opportunity to gain the 21st century skills needed to become productive citizens, while still being mindful of our community’s fiscal priorities. 
Occupation – Retired director Zion Christian Nursery School/currently water aerobics instructor at the Southington YMCA
Education – BS in Business Management  from Post University,  Early childhood certification from Charter Oak College
Personal  -  Married to Eric for 37 years and we have two sons Travis and Jonathan (aka JJ), both of whom are graduates of the Southington School system.
