My name is David M. Falvo, and I am 22 years old. I have had the honor to live in Southington for my entire life. I am a proud product of the Southington Public Schools system. My experience in the Southington Public Schools is what inspired me to embark on the journey to becoming an educator. I always had teachers who cared about me and made it their mission to ensure I was a successful student. I graduated in May from Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Social Sciences Education. I am currently working as a Long Term Substitute Social Studies teacher for a teacher out on maternity leave. I want to be on the Board of Education because I want the children of Southington to have the same enjoyable and rigorous education I received as a student. As someone who is an educator, I can bring a different and unique perspective to the table. I want to continue investing in our schools in a fiscally responsible manner.
